Our tags are made from 100% recycled material. They are 0.6mm thick, 100% carbon neutral, 100% tree-free and made locally in eastern Melbourne. They are printed using UV inks - making them durable and water and sun resistant.

Our strap is made from bespoke Australian leather, a durable natural product. Our leather strap has been carefully and thoughtfully designed, and also hand crafted, ensuring time and the utmost care is placed into personally assembling each strap that is purchased. Due to the handmade nature of our leather strap, please understand that the strap is unique, therefore subtle imperfections and variations may exist. These variations have no effect on the functionality of the product. Images that are displayed through our site are representative of the product you will receive, and are therefore not exact replicas.

This is really up to you - though consider that some individuals may feel overwhelmed if they need to remember too many items! Sometimes you may find that a person needs 3-5 tags, or perhaps you may only need one tag for a repeatedly forgotten item. We suggest you start small, to allow for time to learn how to use the tags. Experiment and see what works for you!

We’ve tested our Remindables strap on children and adults of varied ages and abilities. We’ve found that children from 3+ years can easily operate the press stud, and remove and replace tags onto the strap. We have specifically designed the tags to be easy to flip and move between little fingers with varying levels of dexterity.

** Our Magnetic Reminder Charts do contain tiles that are made of a thin, adhesive film. Due to the nature of this thin material, the receptive tiles may be difficult for people with dexterity and fine motor control to pinch and pick up. They can still be slid around the board, though may be difficult to remove!

The earlier you start, the better! No child is too young and no adult is too old to learn such a skill! We believe in giving children age appropriate tasks, so initially young children may rely heavily on you to help them pack their bag. It can often be easier and quicker to pack your child’s bag for them, however teaching them early to complete tasks themselves, instills independence and a sense of responsibility.

Our Remindables strap can attach to a range of school bags and handbags. The eye of the swivel hook is approximately 3mm in diameter. In the rare case that the hook does not fit directly onto your bag, we suggest you consider attaching a split key ring first. These can be easily sourced from your local hardware store. Alternatively, try tying some thin rope onto the bag first.

There are currently 125+ single images available for purchase (as well as multiple sets). Some of these images represent tangible items that frequently need to be packed into a bag, such as a lunch box or hat. Other images represent activities or events that need to remembered for that day, such as swimming lessons, a grandparent collecting the child from school, or attending an after school care program.

We are currently not registered for NDIS though perhaps in the future we will be! Remindables is a highly practical tool that was created to help children and adults develop independence in a daily task. If you do have NDIS, you can purchase Remindables using your Low Cost Assistive Technology budget or through your consumables in your core budget. If you, or your Plan Manager, requires an invoice prior to confirming your order, please email us directly so we can provide one.

If you find that your tags become dirty, be sure to gently spot clean them with warm water. Do not use abrasives, petroleum based cleaners, detergents, lemon and/or essential oils, as this may remove the printed image from the tag.

We are always asking for suggestions for new designs and welcome any ideas. Lots of people email us ideas and we add these ideas to our growing list!

Along with our standard tag designs, we have also included a blank tag that can be used to suit your own ideas and needs. If you would like to change the image or text on the blank tag to allow for multiple uses, simply apply Lemon or Eucalyptus oil to the tag to easily wipe it off.

Definitely! So far we have shipped to Singapore, America, England, Canada and New Zealand. International orders must be requested through direct email correspondence so that shipping fees can be confirmed, as they are dependent on your location and your country’s freight costs.
